Join Wendy to create a beautiful embossed butterfly card. This card works for many different occasions. We will use simple computer copy paper to create a beautiful translucent butterfly. This flyer shows two different ideas. One butterfly is plain while the other one was colored with colored pencils. Wendy used one of Gary’s vintage book pages for her background on Kraft cardstock. You will make one card. This technique works with stamps, embossing folders, die cut-outs, etc.
Supplies requested for a class must be provided by the person taking the class. Neither Marcos nor the instructor provides these materials. Supplies: You will need your usual project supplies- scissors (fussy cut), bone folder, pencil and adhesive (liquid glue, glue stick, score tape), etc. If you wish to distress your card (Wendy used Vintage Photo), please bring distress inks and applicators. You will need your VersaMark watermark stamp pad, clear embossing powder, heat resistant craft mat and heat tool. If you wish to add color to your butterfly, bring your color pencils, alcohol markers, water based markers, etc.
If you have never used a VersaMark stamp pad or embossing powder, bring the other supplies and Wendy will show you how this is done.
